\nFirst of all, I have to make clear that working for a company offering public transportation services, this trip was kind of obligatory and strongly recommended by everyone from work…
\nLuckily I am into old school cars and such:
\n
\nSo on Sunday noon me and Sven met at the Central Station and took the Train to Cultra to get to the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum<\/a> (so yeah, 2 museums close to each other). We made an attempt to get there several times but somehow there always was something in the way (like royal weddings causing traffic to collapse or just time<\/a>).
\nThere was one particular reason we were both eager to get to the transport museum and it might have something to do with us calling each other „Doc“ and „Marty“ all the time…<\/p>\n

\nMarty McFly:<\/strong> Wait a minute, Doc. Ah… Are you telling me that you built a time machine… out of a DeLorean<\/em>?
\nDr. Emmett Brown:<\/strong> The way I see it, if you’re gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n


\nYEAH BABY! YEAH!!!! Making this trip without paying tribute to this legendary car<\/a> is like going to another country just to play computer games in your apartment…
\nThe nice thing about being at the museum on a sunny Sunday like the one we were there, is that there are people exhibiting their old timer cars in front of the museum, and guess what!?!
\n
\n2*1.21GW=(even more fun)!
\nThis DeLorean was even in a better shape than the one in the museum!
\nAfter having adored our object of desire long enough, we realized that time was working against us (again) but luckily we had enough time to end our tour through the transport museum:
\n
\n…and still have some time to get to see the folk museum, where we had enough time to fool around:
\n
\nThere were lots of pretty authentic old buildings which allowed us to take some nice photos…
\n
\n…as well as to learn that printers back then, also were kind of „high maintenance“.<\/a>
\n
\nWe also talked a bit to the people „living“ in those houses(now, this reminds me of C.O.B.s while working for the U.S. Army \ud83d\ude00 ).<\/p>\n

After rushing through a whole village of antique houses we had to relax at the Cultra Mansion…
\n
\n…before heading back to Belfast, some free-ranging Bacon reminded us that we haven’t eaten for a while…
\n
\nBACON!<\/strong>
\nBack in Belfast we grabbed something nice to eat and enjoyed the last rays of sunlight in front of the City Hall.
\n
\nTo sum it up I must say it was a very enjoyable weekend and even the bad weather on Saturday couldn\u2019t change that a bit(we were still lucky, because it could have been worse<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Maybe when I get my flux capacitor sorted out, I might be able to repeat this weekend once again…
