In my last post here (I believe) it’s time for:

\n
\nAs many who have read my articles might already know, I liked it here so much, I even wanted to stay a bit longer<\/a> but that’s simply not possible<\/a> at this point.
\nSo, finally I have to say goodbye to a city which, I have to admit, has more to offer than I expected.
\n
\nBesides the typical views you would expect, there was a big change noticeable, where lots of new buildings and businesses were flourishing…
\n
\n…side by side to old monumental buildings and a nice landscape around the city.
\nAs a visitor I was very impressed how visitor friendly ALL cities I’ve visited were. There were tourist information centres everywhere as well as free maps and brochures to every single aspect you could possibly be interested in.
\n
\n In Belfast the main point of orientation, was the city hall just like the „Fernsehturm“ in Berlin.
\nIn those two months I must say I got so used to live in Belfast, that it was just natural for me to call this place „home“. Especially when coming back from a trip (of which there were many) seeing Samson and Goliath<\/a> was very pleasant.
\n
\nSpeaking of „homes“, I really have to say that living right at the harbour is really nice and that’s also something I will miss.
\n
\nThe sight of a big ship in your „front yard“ isn’t the usual sight I have at breakfast in Berlin \ud83d\ude09
\n
\nI am also happy to have managed to have done something out of some very „sketchy“ specifications…
\n
\n…which also helped me to value a proper software engineering process.<\/p>\n

As I have hosted all pictures included in my articles on a private vhost, there are some interesting statistics for you:

\nThanks to everyone for reading my posts, especially my friends and family from Germany, Holland and the USA(greetings to Kat and the 3 Z. \ud83d\ude42 ) as well as my colleagues from work here in NI(judging by the stats, Jonas might be the only one in Dublin reading my posts, special thx 2 u \ud83d\ude00 ).
\nThe mailing lists for both cities handled over 100 email threads and are just 100KB when gziped but I hope they were useful for all of you.<\/p>\n

At this point I would also like to thank everybody who made this possible like my boss Wolfgang Assmann<\/a> the people from OSZIMT<\/a>. Thank you very much!<\/p>\n
