My first day at work.<\/p>\n

We arrived 1h30 before we should be at the company. Like a good apprentice I would say it was planned but … uhm well the truth is that nobody told us to arrive there at 10 am. So we had enough time to sit in the lobby and to gape about this big company.<\/p>\n

It’s like you know it from American movies but such bigger than that. This is a large building with approximate one big room where up to 450 people works
\nsimultaneously. There are only some small dividers that cuts off the different departments from each other. I’ve never seen that before, it looks amazing…<\/p>\n

In Capita, my host company, there are some departments divided by contracts . Nearly every contract has one or more departments depending on the size of that contract (see the sign at the ceiling).
\nI’ll working for the department that be engaged with education. So Capita overviews the network for the schools in the UK. So the most schools (primary, secondary …) have a structured
\nwired and wireless network administered by Capita.
\nThe section of education is more divided into networking, servers, service desk and so on. I’m in the network section who’s planning network structure and overviews the wired and wireless network at all schools.<\/p>\n

If the work begins, the sun is always shining \ud83d\ude42<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

At my first days I only get some introduction which will be necessary for me to working on my own.
\nI’ve three colleagues which are very nice and crack jokes every time about one another :). It’s only difficult for me to really understand
\nwhat they said because they speak very fast and with Belfast accent –> see a smart accent guide here \ud83d\ude09 Belfast accent guide<\/a><\/p>\n

So\u00a0the bus trip to work takes\u00a0up a lot of\u00a0time but there is no difference to Germany because I’m accustomed to that travelling time and with\u00a0two other people (\u00a0of our group it will never be boring.<\/p>\n

P.S. On the bus stops you had to queue up to get into the bus nevertheless it’s sunny or rainy. Most times it’s rainy \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
