Ramen Dinner

Day 20 20.04.2018 Friday

I don’t know if this is normal in Ireland, but our radiator was still on all night long. The weather yesterday/today was already so hot that I couldn’t wear more than a shirt and shorts. And it was still to hot for me. Because of the weather and the radiator (which we can’t switch off) it was like a sauna in my room this night. I don’t understand why we can’t adjust the timer or the radiator ourselves.I woke up very often this night because of the heat.

At the office I prepared some Wap for the site which is going to get redesigned next week. They need a hostname, an image and a label as well as to register themselves in our system. After that my department manager showed me some settings at cisco prime.

A big part of my team (as well as my department manager) left earlier today because it was a sunny and hot day and they wanted to enjoy the weather. I asked Paul to give me another task and he wanted me to research why some pc’s are not registered in sccm and not listed. After my work I really enjoyed my spare time.

We visited the Botanic Garden again with Jenny, Phi, Dominik and Giang. The weather was very sunny and the garden was very crowded. I guess everyone in Belfast enjoyed it. We also bought some ice cream at the garden. I have to say that it wasn’t really worth the 2,50 pound. It was just some cream with lime sauce on it. After the garden we went to tesco to grab some food for tomorrow (because we will go to the Giant Causeway). We decided to get also something to eat at the victoria square. We ate very expensive ramen. My ramen cost 16.00 pound and my appetizer (steamed dumplings) was about 6 pound. Meaning I just ate dinner worth 22 pound. All together we’ve spend about 98 pound. But it was very delicious and worth the experience. The location reminded me a little of the german-italian restaurant chain “vapiano”. After we finished eating we went home to get some sleep before the trip tomorrow.
