SYNOPSIS

Après un séjour à l’hôpital suite à une blessure par balle à tête, Bazil se retrouve à la rue. Par chance, ce doux rêveur, à l’inspiration débordante, est recueilli par une bande de truculents chiffonniers aux aspirations et aux talents aussi divers qu’inattendus, vivant dans une véritable caverne d’Ali Baba : Remington, Calculette, Fracasse, Placard, la Môme Caoutchouc, Petit Pierre et Tambouille. Un jour, en passant devant deux bâtiments imposants, Bazil reconnaît le sigle des deux fabricants d’armes qui ont causé ses malheurs. Aidé par sa bande d’hurluberlus, il décide de se venger. SYNOPSIS:

Nach einem Krankenhausaufenthalt als Folge auf einen Kopfschuss findet sich Bazil auf der Straße wieder. Durch pures Glück wird dieser sanfte Träumer mit der überschäumenden Einfallskraft von einer Bande urwüchsiger Lumpensammler mit überraschenden Sehnsüchten und Talenten aller Art in Empfang genommen. Sie leben in einer wahren Ali-Baba-Höhle : der Redensartenzitierende Remington, die Rechenkünstlerin Calculette, der Kanonenkugelmann Fracasse, der ehemalige Häftling Placard, die biegsame Caoutchouc, Petit Pierre und die Köchin Tambouille. Beim Vorbeifahren an zwei imposanten Gebäuden erkennt Bazil eines Tages das Sigel zweier Waffenhersteller wieder, die sein Unglück hervorgerufen haben. Mit Hilfe seiner Bande Luftikusse, entscheidet er sich zu rächen.

Bazil (Dany Boon), garçon lunaire en galère depuis qu’une balle perdue s’est logée dans son cerveau, rencontre une bande de chiffonniers qui le prennent sous leur aile. Les zigomars crèchent sous une bretelle du périph‘ dans une sorte de caverne envahie d’objets trouvés. Avec eux, Bazil manigance une opération de représailles en ­montant deux marchands d’armes l’un contre l’autre. […] Derrière le message un peu tartignolle (vendre des canons, c’est pas bien) se cache une fascination pour tout ce qui crépite ou explose, déjà manifeste dans ses précédents films, du Bunker de la dernière rafale à Un long ­dimanche de fiançailles. Bazil (Dany Boon), Fantast im Konflikt seit sich eine verlorene Pistolenkugel in seinem Gehirn festgesetzt hat, trifft auf eine Bande Lumpensammler, die ihn unter ihre Fittiche nimmt. Die Freaks hausen unter einer Ausfahrt des Pariser Stadtrings in einer Art Höhle voller Fundstücke. Mit ihnen heckt Bazil eine Vergeltungsunternehmung aus bei welcher sie zwei Waffenhändler gegeneinander aufhetzen. […] Hinter der ein wenig blöden Botschaft (Waffen verkaufen – das ist nicht gut) versteckt sich eine Faszination für alles was knattert und explodiert, die bereits in vorhergehenden Filmen, von Letzter Feuerstoß im Bunker bis Mathilde – Eine große Liebe, präsent war. Wir persönlich bevorzugen den Jeunet, der die Revolver zieht gegenüber dem, der die Geigen rausholt ( Die fabelhafte Welt der Amélie Poulain).

Micmacs à tire-larigot : Les personnages désincarnés de Jeunet, pourtant génial brocanteur

Jean-Pierre Jeunet est un cinéaste précieux, auquel sa poésie délirante inspirée par Jacques Prévert assure un statut aussi ludique que ceux du Britannique Terry Gilliam ou de l’Américain Tim Burton. Interprété par Dany Boon, ici dans son meilleur film, le héros est un cinéphile dont le père a sauté jadis sur une mine et qui se prend une balle perdue dans le crâne (une „dragée dans le bocal“ pour rester dans le ton). Mort en sursis, il décide de pourrir la vie de deux marchands d’armes ayant pignon sur rue à Paris. Il se fait aider pour cela par une bande de truculents chiffonniers qui l’ont adopté, des déclassés à l’âme d’enfant vivant dans une caverne d‘ Alibaba regorgeant d’inventions brindezingues. Depuis Delicatessen, pas un opus de Jeunet qui ne fasse appel à ce schéma du Petit Poucet engagé dans un bras de fer contre un monstre […] Il orchestre un concert de trouvailles avec une maestria virtuose.

Reste, face à cette époustouflante démonstration de savoir-faire, un déficit. Les personnages restent des silhouettes, marginaux sympathiques mais désincarnés. Le héros du film, c’est l’ingénieur en prouesses, l’artisan des mécaniques improbables, le manieur de poulies, celui qui récupère, trie, répare, recycle : c’est Jeunet, génial brocanteur, mais dont les pieds nickelés restent graphiques, instruments d’une éblouissante machinerie de divertissement dont la profondeur humaine reste un peu trop opaque. « Reichliche Mauscheleien » : die wirklichkeitsfremden Figuren von Jeunet, dem dennoch genialen Trödler

Jean-Pierre Jeunet ist ein wertvoller Filmemacher, dem seine verrückte und von Jacques Prévert inspirierte Poesie einen genauso spielerischen Status sichert wie dem Engländer Terry Gilliam oder dem Amerikaner Tim Burton. Gespielt von Dany Boon, hier in seinem besten Film, ist der Held ein Filmliebhaber, dessen Vater einst auf eine Mine getreten ist und der sich eine verfehlte Pistolenkugel in seinen Schädel einfängt (ein „ Dragee im Glas“ um beim Ton des Films zu bleiben). Dem sicheren Tod entgegengehend, entscheidet er sich das Leben zweier gut angesehener Waffenhändler zu verderben. Helfen lässt er sich dabei von einer Bande urwüchsiger Lumpensammler, die ihn adoptiert haben, Deklassierte mit lebendigen Kinderseelen, die, in einer Ali-Baba-Höhle lebend, in den verrücktesten Erfindungen schwimmen. Seit Delikatessen, gibt es nicht ein Werk von Jeunet, das nicht an das Schema des kleinen Däumlings appelliert, der um das Kräftemessen mit einem Monster kämpft. […] Er inszeniert ein Konzert glücklicher Entdeckungen mit virtuoser Bravour. Und doch bleibt trotz dieser verblüffenden Darstellung von Savoir-faire ein Defizit. Die Figuren bleiben Silhouetten, sympathische Deklassierte, aber wirklichkeitsfremd. Der Held des Films ist der meisterhafte Ingenieur, der Handwerker der unwahrscheinlichen Mechanismen, der Fadenzieher – der, der sammelt, sortiert, repariert, recycelt: Jeunet selbst. Der geniale Trödler, dessen träge Füße jedoch statisch bleiben – als die Instrumente einer faszinierenden Unterhaltungsmaschinerie deren menschliche Tiefe ein bisschen sehr undurchdringlich bleibt.

Im französischen Film „Micmacs“ geht ein netter Videoverkäufer auf sehr charmante Weise einem Waffenmulti an den Kragen. Doch Regisseur Jean-Pierre Jeunet konzentriert sich zu sehr auf spektakuläre Bilder und vergisst, Hauptdarsteller Dany Boon unter Kontrolle zu bringen. (…) Dany Boon ist (…) wirklich witzig. Ein geborener Clown mit sympathischem Hundeblick, der für jede Situation die passende Grimasse parat hat und trotzdem bescheiden wirkt. Das kann ein Segen sein, im richtigen Film. Micmacs von Jean-Pierre Jeunet ist nicht dieser Film. (…) Das Problem an seinem neuen Film „Micmacs“ ist, dass es zwei Wege gibt – den von Jeunet und den von Boon. Jeder führt zu einem anderen Ziel. (…) „Micmacs“ ist kein Desaster, dem es auf jeden Fall aus dem Weg zu gehen gilt. Visuell liefert Jeunet wieder einmal Meisterliches. Doch die Geschichte ist so simpel und teilweise albern geraten, dass sie es auch ohne einen derart angestrengten Hauptdarsteller schwer gehabt hätte. Mais le réalisateur Jean-Pierre Jeunet se concentre trop sur des images spectaculaires, oubliant de maîtriser l’acteur du premier rôle, Dany Boon […] Dany Boon est […] vraiment drôle. Un clown parfait avec un regard de chien sympathique, qui trouve pour chaque situation la grimace correspondante de façon tout de même modeste. C’est peut être une bénédiction, dans le vrai film. « Micmacs à tire-larigot » de Jean-Pierre Jeunet n’est pas ce film. […] Le problème dans ce nouveau film consiste en cela : il y a deux chemins, celui de Jeunet et celui de Boon. Chacun mène vers un autre but. […]  « Micmacs à tire-larigot » n’est pas un désastre qu’il faut éviter à tout prix. Visuellement Jean-Pierre Jeunet livre quelque chose de magistral. Mais l’histoire est si simple et parfois un peu niaise qu’elle aurait eu la vie dure sans un acteur principal si intense. À la fin reste un amusement agréable pour les jours d’été pluvieux. Pour tant de talent rassemblé c’est vraiment peu.

(…) Aber eben weil „Micmacs“ von Jeunet ist, bleibt das Hintergrund-Grauen bei aller Fantastik ganz alltäglich: Die Gefährlichkeit der Waffe, die Bazil niederstreckt, besteht in der bloßen (aber eben nicht zufälligen) Tatsache, dass es sie gibt. Also sind in Jeunets Märchenkosmos der einfachen Kausalketten die Waffenproduzenten dieser Welt der böse Goliath, den es zu bekämpfen gilt. (…) Dennoch ist „Micmacs“, dessen Humanismus und Körperkomik an die Ära Charlie Chaplins erinnert, keine verfilmte These, sondern lebt von den Figuren, auf die Bazil nach seinem Unfall in einer Räuberhöhle aus Schrott trifft (…) Leider türmt sich die Flut visueller Witze zum zappeligen Dauer-Höhepunkt und verdirbt oft die Spannung (anders als der deutsche Titel warnt der französische „Micmacs à tire-larigot“ ja schon vor den „Mauscheleien in rauen Mengen“). Mit dem finalen Lüften einiger Schleier gelingt Jeunet am Ende dann aber doch noch ein ganz besonderer Treffer, der einem nicht so schnell aus dem Kopf geht. (Die Welt, 21.07.10)

[…] Malheureusement la marée de blagues visuelles s’empile comme un apogée permanent et agité et gâche le suspens (différent du titre allemand, le titre français « micmacs à tire-larigot » prévient déjà de la « magouilles à gogo »). Avec le dévoilement final Jeunet réussit quand même à dévoiler un coup qui ne lâche pas le spectateur.
