The first pledge announced was from U D\u00fcsseldorf.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/userblogs.fu-berlin.de\/langsci-press\/files\/2017\/11\/tilburg.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1338 size-medium alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/userblogs.fu-berlin.de\/langsci-press\/files\/2017\/11\/tilburg-300x200.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/userblogs.fu-berlin.de\/langsci-press\/files\/2017\/11\/tilburg-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/userblogs.fu-berlin.de\/langsci-press\/files\/2017\/11\/tilburg-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/userblogs.fu-berlin.de\/langsci-press\/files\/2017\/11\/tilburg-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/userblogs.fu-berlin.de\/langsci-press\/files\/2017\/11\/tilburg-450x300.png 450w, https:\/\/userblogs.fu-berlin.de\/langsci-press\/files\/2017\/11\/tilburg.png 1240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Since then, we have collected 60 pledges from all over the world, with U Tilburg being the latest, making it stand 60\/100.<\/p>\n<p>As customary with crowdfunding projects, the support rate is high at the beginning, then drops towards the middle of the funding period (summer in our case), only to rise steeply as the end of the funding period approaches. We see the pledges picking up steam in the last weeks, but we will need a much steeper rise to meet the target! Next to the 60 institutions which have already pledged, we are in contact with 177 more. These 177 institutions have responded to our mails but are still in the process of making up their minds. If you contact your librarian now, this might very well tip the scale in our favour!
