Dr. Ang Gao is a lecturer in Film Production at the School of Film Media and Performing Arts at the University for the Creative Arts. She is an independent documentary filmmaker and documentary theatre performer, winning awards and travelling worldwide. She obtained her doctoral degree at Newcastle University, UK, a MA degree in Media and Journalism at Newcastle University, UK, and a BA degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Wuhan Polytechnic University, China.
