These are the University of Montana students doing the tap water campaign with us and this is the mission statement of their TapThat Montana campaign:
Clean drinking water is free in Missoula — let’s help make it free for everyone in the world
1. Stop paying for bottled water. That’s stupid. Free tap water is just as good, and we’ll prove it.
2. Fill up your bottle at the drinking fountain. Drinking fountains are an American tradition. They’re a symbol of the universal right to water, which we believe in.
3. You’ve just saved the first dollar of at least $250 this year. If you can spare it, give it to UNICEF, so everyone in the world can have tap water that’s just as good as yours. One dollar provides up to 40 days of water to a child in a developing country. It’s up to you.
