Short Bio
Eyck Marcus Wendt is a researcher and teacher at the Institute for Theatre Studies at the University of Leipzig, supported by the Rosa-Luxemburg Foundation. With a background in political theory and cultural studies, he is interested in the intersections between theatricality, representation, and political agency. In his PhD project on the theatre trials and tribunals of Milo Rau, Eyck Marcus Wendt analyzes how new theatre projects affect our understanding of the border between art and politics. He is editor-in-chief of the Leipzig-based literature magazine Honich
