Pauline Bachmann Pauline Bachmann studied Latin American Studies, Art History, and History at Freie Universität Berlin, in Costa rica and Mexico. Since April 2011 she is a research fellwo in the Research Unit 1703 „Transcultural Negotiations in the Ambits of Art“ at Freie Universität Berlin, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Her current Ph.D. project fucuses on Neoconcretism in Brazil with special attention to transcultural aspects.
