Conceptual progenitors

The below texts, published at the end of the Nordic Summer University study circle “Praxis of Social Imaginaries“, were written during the development of the collaborative research project Studies in Remoteness. Both texts investigate concepts foundational to the Studies in Remoteness project, including: ‘remoteness’ as a political condition that produces aesthetic regimes (settler taste), inquiries of cohabitation, livability, and world-making.
