Back again at home and at work

Hello everyone!

I am so glad to be back in Berlin and I am also glad to be at my old workplace again. I really missed the S-Bahn and that constantly waiting for the bus which is always late. Even if I didn’t get my 10€ Döner is stil got one for 5€ and that is kinda the same but also tasted really good. It feels good to have a regulated day again with regulated working times and regulated shoping times.

There is that one song of Peter Fox I had constantly in my mind while we were on our way back to germany and I think I just post it here.

Airport Party

Hello everyone!

So people this is it! Just a few more hours to go and then we are sitting in the airplane ready to start and to see our beloved City, Berlin. We are here now for like 12 hours all sitting together and discussing all of our experience we made in our 8 weeks. I would really love to stay some more time but the time is over and my people needs me. I wonder if some things have changed in that time. When you are rigth there you don’t really notice it because you are confronted with it the hole time but when you are gone for some time the changes can be really big and hard to take. I already heard that some new people joined our group and I don’t know them and I can’t say if I even like them but now those people are there. I just hope that I can go back to my normal life really quickly but I don’t think it will be easy.

Last week of work

Hello everyone!

Yes now it is finally coming to an end. This is our last week Max, Tim and I have to work at Concentrix together with Peter. I enjoined working here a lot because all the people are so nice to us like Peter or Chris from the reception. Our jobs were simple and we did them well and now it is all ogre. We promised Peter that when he comes to Berlin(again) that we go and visit some bars and clubs with him and have a drink. Next week we will all go back to our work placements in germany.

Last weekend in NI

Hello everyone!

This is it man. This is our last weekend we have here in Belfast and for me I can say that it was an awsome weekend. First we had to celebrate Tims birthday wich was quite nice. Then we watched that soccer game germany versus Ghana and over the weekend itself I went to the Q-Con everyday from Friday to Sunday. Overall I can say that I really love Belfast and Ireland itself but I really have to get back to germany. More and more people ask me when I will be back and now I can say it is just 6 days from now on.

Soccer game pub thing

Hello everyone!

Yeah I had no better idea for the title than that but I think it sums it up perfectly. Yesterday Tim, Martin, Marco, Leo and I went to that pub 15 min away from our arpartments to watch the soccer game Germany versus Ghana. The pub was okay but I think it was a bit to crowded at first but the later it got the emptier it was and the game was nice to watch. It is something sad that it was just a draw because we needed to win to be sure in the next round. Now we can’t loose against USA in the next round or else we are out of the game.

Q-Con

Hello everyone!

I have to say that this weekend was my favorite weekend of all and that because of Q-Con. Q-Con is an gaming and Anime Convention with a lot of cosplayers like the ComicCon but with less comics and more mangas. It was a good experience because I met a lot of people which were all super nice and you can have a nice conversation with them. The funny thing is that this time when I went to a con that I talked more with the traders and the con staff than with cosplayers or other atendees like I normaly do.

Merch. Everytime I am visiting a convention or something similiar I have to buy loads of merch either is it pony stuff or something anime related, even if I can’t do anything with it atleast it is a nice present for my friends in berlin.

To much work

Hello everyone!

Normally Tim and I don’t have that much to do at work but this time and with this time I mean yesterday we had so much work to do it wasn’t funny anymore. We worked like ten hours through and that from the beginnig straight to the end. Also we had to change the builing like 4 times the day. From Lesley to Lanyon, from Lanyon to River house, from River House to Lanyon and from Lanyon to River House again and we had to walk everytime because the just fit 3 people in the car but we were actualy 4.

Just 9 days

Hello everyone!

It looks like it is going to an end and I just simply can’t believe that we just have 9 days to go and I am looking more and more foward to get home and to have a big party with all of my friends and my family, I am also looking foward to german food. The first thing I will do after I landed in germany is that I go to the Döner stand next to my flat and order a Döner for bloody 10 euros. Also I want some cheap Ice Tea because I just couldn’t find any in any store.

Damn cupboards

Hello everyone!

You know those days where you have some tasks to do which you really don’t want to do? Yeah I had one of those days. Tim, Max and I had to move some cupboards from the Lanyon building to the Lesley Exchange building and it was just a terrible pain in the arse. because the where so many problems. It sounded easy at first but some kind of god was mad at us and throw us some major horses in our way to hen block our path. Because of safety issues we first had to empty the cupboards and their were all full and there were like 4 of them, but before that the keys were missing to open them. Then the transport which was hard to navigate and there were always that one woman constantly asking if we are already done with our task. It took us two days to move them and at the second day we had to wait like two hours for the van before we could get even started.

Stupid cupboards!

WM start

Hello everybody!

The world championchip for soccer started a few day back and we watch as much games as possible. Normally I am not that kind of a soccer fan but I am always looking the world championchip on TV. Yesterday Leo, Martin, Tim, Nick, Marco from the FSZ 22 and I went into a pub for the public viewing. The pub is just down the road and has a really nice atmosphere. At the pub we watched the match italy against england. When I remember right italy won with a 2:1. It was a nice evening and we wanted to stay longer but the wanted to close the pub after 2 am.
