The week in Wroclaw has flown by, and I can hardly believe how many exciting experiences we’ve already had.
Wednesday brought us to an IT school, where we gained a glimpse into their working methods. They emphasize practical work extensively, and I must say, their chairs were surprisingly comfortable, and class sizes noticeably smaller compared to our school.
Afterwards, Georgi (our english teacher) took us on a stroll through the city. We savored the fresh air and aesthetic surroundings before settling by the riverside to discuss Tuckman’s theory on team building. It was fascinating to hear different perspectives and witness how this theory is put into practice.
The next day, we visited the zoo. While we didn’t see as many animals as we’d hoped, it was still a pleasant outing and a welcome change of pace.
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly our visit to the John Weston Group on Friday. The CEO proudly showcased his company, and it was impressive to learn about the achievements of such a „small“ enterprise. Discovering their collaborations with major companies like Google and Pepsi was truly eye-opening, demonstrating that even seemingly small companies can achieve great things.
The week concluded with a bang: a session of laser tag followed by a fun-filled bar-hopping tour. It was a night of unforgettable laughter and camaraderie.
Wroclaw has truly captivated and surprised us thus far, and I look forward to what the coming days have in store. Stay tuned for more updates from our Polish adventure! <3
