On Thursday we notice a mistake. Someone has put same laptop into false crates. Now we have e.g. damage laptop´s between ready loaded laptop´s and the crate is marked as done. But this week it doesn´t matter. We finished all windows 7 install and continue with machines without an available windows 7 serial key on it. Some of this machines are windows vista and same are maybe windows 7 but there is no serial number or we can´t identify it. It doesn´t matter why we can´t install windows 7 but we have to make the notebook´s useful so we install Linux on it. We choose two different distributions of Linux. On the one hand we used Zorin OS Educational. A nice looking operating system based on Ubuntu. It include a lot of program´s and it is specializes for schools. On the other hand we used Lubuntu. Lubuntu is a fast and lightweight operating system based on Ubuntu, too. It is made for not so powerful computer so it is not wrong. This week we only spend time in facebook to install nearly 200 computer. It´s no exciting job but facebook is a nice place to work. You have drink food and candy for free and if you are waiting for an installation of windows or in the break you can play pool. We were 7 guys in facebook to reload the windows but nevertheless it take 3 days to install the machine’s.

First of all we should furnish the workplace of two employees. The employees should get a new computer from our existing test environment. After we placed the first computer we determined that own software from the company does not work properly. The Internet Explorer version 10 was necessary for the software but we had already updated the computer at the latest version (Internet Explorer version 11). For that reason it was necessary to downgrade it.
Furthermore we had to do other desired user-defined settings in the phone software etc..
In the evening we searched for a new pub in the O‘ Connell Street…
On Thursday we prepare the new usb sticks for the installation the next day on facebook. We made the 30 new usb sticks bootable with the windows 7 installation. This day my instructor Mr. Bavar visit me in my Irish company, too so we had a little meeting there. On Friday on facebook my colleague realize that we can´t install windows with the new usb sticks so we split the driver and the installation, put the installation on usb 2.0 stickt and install the driver from the new 3.0 usb sticks. Monday was a bank holiday so I don´t have to work and I had no pleasure to do anything so I stay at our apartment and relax. At Tuesday and Wednesday we build a lot of new computer together with the Portuguese. We did it for testing my windows 7 installation with all windows updates on different hardware. It work fine. We will use this installation on Friday and to install windows on a faster way my boss order the fastest usb sticks which are on the market.

On Wednesday we installed software on various local machines. For example we installed a software for VOIP phonecalls.
In every location of the Company are Webcams which show the office in different locations. At the day before our boss determined that the webcam in Carrick does not work, so he brought it back to the location in Dublin. We reseted the the Webcam and integrated it back into the camera system.
In the afternoon we had a meeting with our agency at the Guiness Enterprise Center. We gave them a little feedback if everything is fine with our Jobs, Apartements etc. and we got some information about the Europass…

On Monday we should prepare a PC for another location of our Company in Carrick. This still had to occur on Monday, because our boss has gone on Tuesday to a meeting to Carrick.
Furthermore our boss has wished a simple slide show of photos that represents the office in Dublin. We took pictures and put them in a small slide show at the same day, because it should be finished before tuesday.

First of all we have cleared up our Apartement.
Afterwards we were at the O‘ Connell Street to make purchases and to eat something. In the evening we walked back to our Apartement to place our purchases there.
Than we went back to the O‘ Connell Street to visit some pub’s in Temple Bar…

On Friday we safed local user profiles of employees. This was necessary because on PC’s still runs the operating system Windows XP. These should be exchanged for new PC’s with the operating system Windows 7 and the old local user profile should be transferred on the new machine.
In the evening I was at the gym with my colleague. Afterwards we made some purchases and prepared our dinner.
In the late evening we went in the direction of Temple Bar…

At first we should install various software on the PC’s of our test environment. We installed web browsers like firefox and chrome in addition to the Internet Explorer. Furthermore we configured the web browser individuel. We had to classify various web pages as trusted pages that the employees can visit these pages.
In the evening we were at Tesco (supermarket) to make our daily purchases…
