Paul Panser – First Weekend

Hello folks, Panzaaa I am greeting you =)

The first two days of our journey were very eventful. We waited a long time at the airport and for smokers like Pascal and myself it were very hard to endure. The fact that Alexander doesn’t were allowed to fly with us to Ireland took me really hard, because he was supposed to be my roommate. The fly was good and the bus drive was good too, but most of the time  I was asleep.

When we arrived at Belfast we met Laura and Ruth and they led us to our apartments. We live six abreast there, but I like all of them. Now Chris is my roommate. The first thing we did is divide the rooms and looking for something to eat. We found some food at KFC five minutes away from our apartment. Next to it there is the Belfast City Mall. We used the advantage of this and went shopping right away, most likely food and drinks for the next days. I have often made the mistake to watch first left and then right when walking over a street. That is really scary ^^. We are happy about the apartment, because we have a big kitchen and two washrooms. At the evening we set up some rules for the living together. And that was our first day of our journey.

My first impression: It is very different from Berlin.

The first morning here were very calm. I slept long and good, thanks to my own bedding. At twelve o’clock we all met with Sven and Annette at the City Hall. The meeting time delayed a little bit, because Belfast is indeed small, but very confusing. There are no street signs!!!! You don’t know in which street you are right now, except you are at the beginning of the street, there there are street sign at the first building. The road signs look like the same as you find them in Poland… When we finally met with those two we made a sight seeing tour by foot to the east of Belfast. It took about four hours! And for someone like me, who hates to walk more then the length of my car, it were like hell =P. At the evening I cooked for everybody and we were chatting a lot.

Now we are all relaxing and want to know what will wait for us tommorow. I like the time here, but I miss good old Berlin a little bit. You will hear from me in the next days. Bye Guys!

P.S.: I think I am the only one in Belfast with a Mohawk haircut, because  I get some strange looks sometimes O.o

Here some pictures…

There he was still with us :/

These are some really huge bag of crisps 😀

That is the building we live in at the sixth floor.

That is our living room with René and Kai on the couch 🙂

I call today: „The day of the very old buildings“ ^^

The Fake Big Ben =P

That’s the Belfast City Hall, where we met with Sven and Annette

In Belfast they are like the people in England… They MUST have EVERYWHERE those very green and healthy graslands ^^

… but they don’t have the cool red telephone boxes like the english people

Sight Seeing. Sven was in a good mood =)
