Paul Panser – Freaky Saturday

It’se me! Mari… oh I mean Paul!!! 🙂

Yeah the Saturday was quite the day on this week. A lot of things happened, but let me start with the morning.

We planned to rent a car for 7 people and then to drive all around Northern Ireland. Mateusz, our little genius, managed to rent a car for only 168 pounds instead of 250 pounds! What a haggler! 🙂

On that day I slept until half 12 o’clock. At that time Mateusz was already gone to pic up our car from the airport. It was a really big car with much space inside, but I didn’t know the company of this car. We christen that car Samyyang 😉 After we picked up Sven, who was late as usually, we drove to an old big tower on a top of a hill east from Belfast.

It was really blowy up there, but therfor we had a really nice view.

After we climbed down the hill, we wanted to drive further into the east of the island, but a higher might didn’t feel like it. Just when we passed the entry from the Mount Steward Park our car stopped driving… The clutch didn’t caught the gear anymore. So we had to push the car into the entry of the Mount Steward parking place and called a rescue service.

After that me and Sven were really bored and explored the coast a little bit.

I tried to find some food in this wilderness to survive…

and found some delicious mussels :), but don’t worry, I didn’t ate them. After hours of waiting the rescue service showed up and tried to fix the problem, but with no success. Mateusz and Chris drove with him and the „kaput car“ back to the airport to get a new car. The rest of us used the 2 hours to discover the secrets of the Mount Steward. Yeah… that took about 30 minutes. Then we decided to go up to the very mysterious „Temple of Wind“ near to the mountain. Why it is mysterious? That is because up there was NO wind xD. Therfor we had an acceptable view of the coast and a lot of sun, so we relaxed at the temple for the rest of the time.

After Mateusz and Chris returned with the new car we drove to a small town to find something to eat. I had a meat burger with no sauce, really bald, but therfor I’ve made a nice picture of the sunset on the docks.

When we arrived at home after that lost day I had a shower and met up with Sven at his place to rock the Stiff Kitten club again. It was Japanese night and both of us really love the japanese culture, thus we had big hopes for that event, but we got dissapointed. The DJ was really bad and the club was almost empty.

But luck was on our side! We found someone outside who planned to make a house party and he invited us! Woohoo! So we walked with them to his home and surprise surprise he lived right in front of Sven’s home here in Belfast. It was really funny and we had a nice talk with the people there.

In the end I was back at home at 4.30 o’clock and fell asleep in an instant.

See ya!
