Delayed Diary part 2 „Chuck Norris“

Hi again,
here is the announced second part of our trip through Ireland.

Our second day started with a exhaustive exploration of our surroundings. We arrived late at night and that we thought as a house of a serial killer was in reality a small farm with many animals and really kind persons living there.

With the help of the farmers wife(or was it daughter – not sure which one was the original farmer) we planned our day. The first stop was a nice and unpopular lake formed by a glacier after the last ice age. It was not an easy way(because our shoes were not suited for this tour) but we had a great view and saw many things on our way. Here a picture of the lake:

Our next stop was at some (a little more famous) waterfalls but unfortunately we were short in time again…

Satisfied with nature we decided to stop at a town called Lismore which had a famous castle. We wanted to go inside but there were only small parts accessible and we would have to pay for it. So we walked around in Lismore and enjoyed the great weather:

Unfortunately it was late again and there were still some kilometers left so we left Lismore and headed toward Killarney where our second hostel was located. Tired but happy we fell in bed(after a nice meal in an Indian Restaurant and a walk through the „city center“):

That was the first half of our trip through the south of Ireland. However it may take a few days until I can release the other two days.

So until then

Jonas

PS: Some people may wonder where Chuck Norris is – Well, he is right behind you.

  1. A friend of Chuck Norris here!

Chuck Norris never misspells a word. If he does, he simply changes the spelling!

I’m quite capable of speaking on my own behalf, so I’m the once to type strg+Alt+Entf with one finger!

  3. The first comment yesterday had awful fear of ending in „dead-line“ ;-)), the second sang: Don’t worry – be happy!
