Hallo, mein Name ist Erik und ich bin Auzubildender der Charité in Berlin. In meiner Ausbildung zum Fachinformatiker in Systemintegration ist ein Auslandspraktikum nach Irland vorgesehen, welche ich dieses Jahr absolviere. Viel Spaß beim Lesen.

The end of a good week

So the first week is over. It was very interessting how fast the
time passed by.I have longer workinghours as my colleagues. Stefan and
I work from 9a.m. to 6p.m. But I like my work. Friday I got
my first little project. I work on many databases and built a report.
The report show diffrent information about the databases.
It’s based on xml. The next time I will learn how to connect the diffrent
databases for the perfect query.
Yesterday we were by Nick and Lars. They have a nice big livingroom.
At 3.am. we were driving home by taxi. I think it isn’t too
expensiv.

Today we were in the city and visit a tradional pub with live music.
It was called the old storehouse…I like this music and the feeling is so
amazing.

My First Workday

Hi dudes,
So at Monday I wasn’t at work. The first thing we did was meeting
Mageret. She was very friendly, after the meeting we got
free tickets for a visit in the Guinnes Store House. It Was
very interesting. At this day I got my next Certification from
Guinnes-Company ^^. It was a very funny day.


Yesterday was my first workday. Mr Fitzgerald and my new collegues
are very polite. It is a small company but I like it.
At my first days monica shows me how the strukture in this company
is and how the system does work. The next days I will basically look
what my collegues do because I must learn a lot.

In the next blog I will describe my project.
The guidelines are very strong at my workplace but I think it is ok,
as we work with finance data.

In our appartment we have a clear role setup: I’m the chef,
Stefan and Christoph clean the dishes and Robert cleans
the Kitchen/livingroom.

My first two days in Ireland

Yesterday we arrived in dublin. I think it is a very beautiful little city. At first we explored our penthouse appartment. It’s a nice composition of luxus and standart.

Furthermore it’s in the centre of Dublin. Shortly after moving into the rooms we went down the city and looked for a super-market. The prices here are much higher than in Germany. In the afternoon we visited a nice typical irish pub (o’sheas). It was a very nice place and the food as well as the guinnes were very delicious. After our meals we went in a little club.The people in dublin are very diffrent, but i like this.
Today, after the morning sport, we went in the city center and organized a bus-ticket and a phone card. The bus-ticket was very expensive
but the phone card is much cheaper than in Germany. And now i have cook our dinner and we to die away the day.

Irland ich komme

Hallo Leute,

in 3 Wochen geht es endlich los. Dieser Blogeintrag zeigt euch was ich mir von der Reise erwarte und wo es für mich hingeht.
Wir werden am 06.04.2013 mit der irischen Fluggesellschaft Aerlingus nach Dublin fliegen.

Ich hoffe das ich in Irland mein Englisch um einiges verbessern kann. Außerdem erhoffe ich mir eine schöne Zeit in dem Betrieb und das ich dort viele neue Sachen lerne. Es werden zwei großartige Monate mit viel Spaß und vielen Erfahrungen.

Ansonsten lassen wir uns mal überraschen was man so alles dort erlebt.
