After my self study of java script I try to create a function for a new pop up window. My colleague made an exchange at one file from the website. After the exchange the website dosn´t work properly. The IT-specialist from Lymric had to solve the problem.After the „crash“ from the website I couldn´t test my java script function on the test server because the area from the test site wasn´t included in the backup.
The remaining time I helped my colleague to work on the orders.

Hi there,
today I finally received a packet. After comparing the checksum I routed my packet to work.
I had a low TTL again but there was no connection to the Post before 8 am and after 5pm. I think there was a layer 1 problem.
However even through it was send with enabled QoS it arrived only 2 weeks after sending… (Easter lag I think)
Now the packet is in my cache but I won’t decapsulate it before I get home.
Hope nobody(except CCNAs) understood me so here a short version:
I got the packet from the Post and took it with me to work. However I won’t open it here but at home.
Now just one day left an there we planned a nice … oh that is Dennys part ;D

this was definetly the worse day in ireland so far. You’ll ask me why ……
Well, there was really nothing to do at work today. You’ll still ask me why….
Well, there was a fault in the delivery system of DPD because the bankholiday weekend. Thats the reason why no packet reached BMS and no packets = no parts = nothing to do ._.
At the end of the day ….. Schalke losed the Champions League match against ManU …. I’m still sick and i hope i get well fast..

Back to Techmatic. Today I created another image for an older Dell-type named GX-260. That means I had to install OS, the needed driver and software.
After that, I updated the OS to the latest version and finally I checked whether the PC works the way it is supposed to work. That was the longer part. The easier and shorter part was to create the image of the whole disk.
Today we did a lot. All in all nineteen computers are rebuilt now and xp and some other software is installed now. Tomorrow we will only be two persons at work, JJ and I.
Dustin and Philipp will work at the Computer Doctor and they are going to improve the infrastructure of the company. Meanwhile, JJ and I are going to build up the Dells and make them ready for sell.
And another Week is over. The time is passing by so fast.
Hi there folks, it’s me again!
On easter monday Sven convinced me to make a trip up to the cave hill. It was very cloudy and windy in the morning, so I didn’t had much confidence. At lunch time I met with him in front of the „Fake BigBen“. Thanks to Mateusz, who has traveled there once, we had a directions, because Sven and I either are not well known for our sense of direction.
It lasted one hour to get to the bottom of the cave hill. On our way we went through a kind of slum of the city. The people there were looking a little bit poor and everyone, I swear everyone, was wearing sweatpants. It reminds me a little bit of Hellersdorf in Berlin, but with much less people in it.
When we arrived at cave hill we met some chinese tourists and went to the Belfast Castle.
This week I only have 2 working days because of all the holidays and I spent one of them writing a report/documentation about/of my project, so I’ll rather write about what I did in my spare time.

I have to make two videos. The first video is about Caroline. She works for the tv channel fyi and doo-lally.com clothed Caroline for her TV appearances.
It´s not easy to choose the right images and music.
Some ideas for the videos were to buisness like or the ideas were to crazy. The same task I have to do with Kristeen´s images. She works for the tv channel rte3.
I have to edit the side bar on the website. I have to write a new java script function. So first I most read a lot about java script.

Today I worked again at Computer Doctor after a long time. Peter wanted to teach us something about troubleshooting of laptops and especially the hardware components.
Of course Peter was not there for us the whole day, because he is the boss and has to do something else, but Mark the hardware specialist taught us about it. It is very interesting and relaxing to listen to Mark, because he is a calm person. I think Mark likes to teach us and to explain everything he’s doing.
Today we got a laptop, which was only four weeks old but it looked like it was 4 years old. The entire keyboard was sticky. We smelled the reason. White Wine!!!
It was so disgusting and sticky. The poor laptop. However, it was a perfect example for using a laptop the way you should not do it.

yesterday was not my best day. It rained and it was the first time it got wet. However that was not the real problem here. My supervisor checked the working hours and found out that nobody ever mentioned to me that there are no real flexible working hours(never believe anything that SWAN says) but two possible periods of time. But when you are not here at the first time(8.30) then its counted as if you come 9.00. So everyday I lost about 30minutes because I always left after a little less than 8 hours after my arrival. Now after only two weeks of working I have an accumulated absence of work of more than 5 hours… And to get those compensated I have to stay up even earlier.
I am sorry for Florian doing all the shopping because I leave when he is still sleeping and and return when he is already at home for an hour.
However the weather is fine now and so am I.

Techmatic, 9 o’clock, booting all pc’s and servers, work is starting..
You all know that we built up some old Dell-pcs in Techmatic and in Computer Doctor we repaired laptops or deleted viruses.
We expanded the working area to work on multiple pcs at the same time.
Philipp set up a Proxy and DHCP Server, JJ set up some products on ebay and i prepared some computers with the necessary hardware.
We decided that the best way to install all the software and operating software is to create an image of a perfect installed computer and recover this image to all the other computers.
So, we used a live boot cd (Acronis) and set up the pc with the images, which you can find in a shared folder in the network. We also could use a pxe-boot.
But we thought it was an easier and faster way to set up the computer.
Push START! EASY.
Most time is spent on installing all the ram modules and harddrives, because you have to check the computers, if they will boot or not and so on.
That was a day in Techmatic, again.
