Last sunday was a nice day to go to the Titanic Museum. We have booked our tickets online and started at 1.20 pm with a nice lunch before…^^ So, we have fetched our tickets from the museum and went in them at 1.40 pm. Well, it was nice to see how the history of Belfast has changed the industry in Belfast. We have saw a lot of history facts about Belfast which was shown with a great variety. One of them was a nice documentary shown which was like a little cinema and you had the possibilty to discover all items which were founded at this discovery. While I walked through the labyrinth of the history, I have lost my roommates…^^ …only Marco and me were left over. After we arrived the end of this museum, we got very hungry and went at home, but we did a stop at our favourite cinema and found a nice location with so very tasty pizzas. Well, the price was bearable and I would recommend this nice location. It’s the Pizza Hut at the Odyssey Cinema with nice service. Well, we have took again some nice pictures, but this once I will post only the link to the complete list by way of variety. Here we go!

Friday Night
Friday night, we had the idea to check out Robinsons Bars, because I figured out, that there should have been a band playing Irish folk music, but after 10 minutes, we decided to leave this pub, because people were kind of strange and there was a strange atmosphere. The weater was fine so we decided to take the chance and get some sun at Filthy McNasty’s. Unfortunately there was no live music but nevertheless it was a nice evening.
A disappointing Saturday evening
Last Saturday, there were Kings of Lyon, a tribute band of Kings of Leon, playing at the Empire’s. Oli, Tim, Tobias and I really like the songs of Kings of Leon, e.g. „Sex on Fire“ or „Use somebody“, but this cover band didn’t satisfy our expectations. The singer said that he sang all week long and therefore his voice would be kind of damaged. Therefore I think it was not their best performance, but nevertheless, most of the people in die pub let it all hang out.
Nice weather and a wonderful garden!
Yesterday, Rene, Tim, Tobi and I went to Belfast Botanic Garden to enjoy the wonderful weather. Which place except the beach would be better to do that? Accidentally lay on our way the historical buildings of Queens University Belfast. They are very impressive and you are in awe if you stand in front of them.

Arrived at Botanic Gardens we were instantly impressed by the beauty of this Garden. It was brilliant to walk through this well designed garden and see some of the most wonderful flowers we ever seen. My personal high light was the part behind the rosery. It was just a path with patches along of it but it has such a beauty.

And another wonderful thing we were allowed to enjoy was a poem of flowers at one of the greenhouses! Brilliant!

Tourist Tour
This weekend was the most awesome that we had here in Belfast. The sun still shining the whole days without any clouds. So we (altogether 8 persons) decided to make a tourist trip to the Giant’s Causeway. This is declared a UNESCO World Heritage and is a very famous place of interest. The tour started in the morning at 9:15 a.m. in a very small and uncomfortable bus. But this bus drove us only to the right bus and started with a little delay. First short stop was at Carrickfergus a few miles northern of Belfast to visit the Carrickfergus Castle. Nothing very special. The female busdriver and tourist guide in one told us a lot about the sights at the tour. A very important tourist stop was at the north coast: Carrick-a-Rede. This rope bridge links the mainland to a tiny island. The next big stop was the Old Bushmills Distillery. Here I bought something for someone. Then we arrived wet through with perspiration thanks to the bad air condition in the bus the final target: Giant’s Causeway. Here you can see a lot of hexagonal stones which are arranged like a puzzle. This is a very amazing place because the incurrence is unknown. At the evening we arrived sunburned and exhausted in Belfast. Overall a great and interesting tour.
Enjoy the Saturday… Chill out @ Botanic Gardens
Yeah, the saturday was pretty nice and it was almost funny like every week in Belfast. We were walked to the Botanic Gardens with my roommates and with a lot of sunshine, but it was sometimes too much, because we went through some glasshouses and it was very hot with so damp air. When we reached the exit to go outside from one of this glasshouse, the air around us feel like so cold, but it wasn’t cold, it was only the great difference between those temperatures. However it was pretty nice and there were so much people, it was like a open-air swimming pool in Germany, but there wasn’t any kind of this one. That was so crazy, but pretty cool. Well, we have decided to chill out a little bit in this park and took some pictures. „Enjoy the Saturday… Chill out @ Botanic Gardens“ weiterlesen
Sunshine in Belfast ☼
Hi guys,
sunshine, oh yes, we have now much sunshine in Belfast.
After 4 weeks bad weather, have we now get sunshine, 20°C in the shadow. Thank you dear weather.
In my bed room in the apartment are 27°C, due to our pitch of the roof. Of course we have opened the windows often, but this didn’t helped much.
On work I have the opposite, it is cold inside (on the basis of the air conditioner) and the sun shining on me (a very interesting feeling :D).
After the work, we enjoy the weather.
I hope the good weather remains. 🙂
On Friday we have us thought, that we go in a Pub. The first idea was the „Secret Garden“, but at this weather was it full and it was a big queue before the Pub. So, we are gone in the „Laverys“ and have once again played billiard.
On the work are not special things happens. I work in the moment on a new Quiz-Game. I think, I come back to this topic in a later post. The work self is still interesting and makes very fun.
Best regards from the sunny Belfast

Party + fire alarm = restless night
Today in the morning … at 1 a.m. … some guys and girls started a party on the 1st floor with extremly loud techno and dance music. When I look out of my bedrooms window I see the balcony where they were dancing and screaming. I tried to sleep but I couldn’t so I decided to use my Ohropax but as I put them in my ears I noticed that I was still able to hear that sound. So I was hoping that they would be done with the party soon. That was around 4 a.m. and the party was still going on. So I thought of going into the livingroom to get my sleep there. As I entered the room I turned back to my bedroom because it wouldn’t had made much sense. Everywhere was loud music to hear. At around 5:30 a.m. I suddenly fall asleep but only for 30 minutes. And the music was going on and on. After I took a shower at 8:30 a.m. (music was still playing) I wanted to take my breakfast but …
Suddenly there appeared a really nasty sound. I was like: „What the hell?!“ When I left the house I noticed that it was the fire alarm which made that noise. The guy in the reception wasn’t there so after a while someone decided to call the fire department and ask for a solution because there were no smoke to see and no smell of burned stuff. A few minutes later someone managed to silent the alarm. And guess what … the music was still playing!
After my breakfast I went to Dun Laoghaire with my parents. It was a pretty day and I also got sun burned. When I came back at 17:20 to the apartments the music was still playing. But hey, they turned the music off at 17:30. Now it’s time for a long sleep.
Belfast Botanic Gardens

Today Oliver, René, Tobias and me visited Belfast Botanic Gardens.
There are many different fascinating plants and flowers and of course the grass is always perfectly cut. But see for yourselves:
