Paul Panser – Roadtrip through NI

Hi there, it’s me Paul

The Sunday started early in the morning at 9.00 o’clock. After 4 hours sleep I had to wake up and prepare for our road trip along the north coast of Northern Ireland. In my case that was coffee, coffee and some more coffee. I don’t know anything about the trip to our first stop at a castle on the coast, because I felt asleep right away in the car. That was quite an act, because me and Sven were practical sitting in the car boot. It was really uncomfortable.

Paul Panser – Freaky Saturday

It’se me! Mari… oh I mean Paul!!! 🙂

Yeah the Saturday was quite the day on this week. A lot of things happened, but let me start with the morning.

We planned to rent a car for 7 people and then to drive all around Northern Ireland. Mateusz, our little genius, managed to rent a car for only 168 pounds instead of 250 pounds! What a haggler! 🙂

On that day I slept until half 12 o’clock. At that time Mateusz was already gone to pic up our car from the airport. It was a really big car with much space inside, but I didn’t know the company of this car. We christen that car Samyyang 😉 After we picked up Sven, who was late as usually, we drove to an old big tower on a top of a hill east from Belfast.

banjacked car on 1st day

As promised, here is part #1 of my report on the road trip around Ireland…
After I picked up the rental car we were ready for our first big journey.

I felt like in driving school on my first driving lesson while trying to shift gears with the left hand and not to drive on the correct/wrong side just out of habit… „banjacked car on 1st day“ weiterlesen

Paul Panser – Botanic Garden

Hi there everybody!

Thursday was quit an enjoyable day. In the morning I was going to work. When I arrived there the office was awfully empty and the ones who where there wore casual clothes. Barry asked me wondering: „Huh? Why are you here? Didn’t Alan told you you have the two days off, too?“ Yeah… he didn’t and so I got only the intuction to security from Marie to give me appearance at work a sense and then I went back home.

Matt told me that the Botanic Garden is really nice at that time of the day and since Sven lives in a area next to it, I gave him a call. So, I met with Sven. We got us some coffee from Starbucks and went to the Botanic Garden. It was really crowded in there, because it was a sunny day and I think the students had semester holidays. That’s why we stayed in there for some hours, drank our coffees, watched the people passing by and enjoyed the nice weather.

Today on Friday I slept long and did almost the same thing as yesterday. I met with Sven, drank a coffee and chilled in the Botanic Garden. In the evening I planned to play with Mateusz badminton again, but since he still wasn’t at home I took a short nap. Yep until 21 o’clock xD and since he didn’t wanted to wake me up we forgot about that.

That’s it for the two days. Quiet and nice 🙂

See ya!

Paul Panser – Landscapes, Party and Headache

Hi there folks, it’s me again!

On easter monday Sven convinced me to make a trip up to the cave hill. It was very cloudy and windy in the morning, so I didn’t had much confidence. At lunch time I met with him in front of the „Fake BigBen“. Thanks to Mateusz, who has traveled there once, we had a directions, because Sven and I either are not well known for our sense of direction.

It lasted one hour to get to the bottom of the cave hill. On our way we went through a kind of slum of the city. The people there were looking a little bit poor and everyone, I swear everyone, was wearing sweatpants. It reminds me a little bit of Hellersdorf in Berlin, but with much less people in it.

When we arrived at cave hill we met some chinese tourists and went to the Belfast Castle.
