Greetings reader!
So how do I start, hmm? Guess just from the beginning. The first obstacle was the way with 40kg baggage to the airport, but i could handle it. The short stay at the airport and the flight were quite normal, so I skip directly to the arrival in Dublin.
We were greeted by the very best Irish weather: „rain“ and not by the Intern Europe Team as we hoped. We could not take the first bus our tickets were explicit for, because it was full. We decided to eat some delicate, but pretty expensive burgers at the aiport, because we had some unwanted freetime. After an hour the next bus to Belfast arrived and we almost couldn´t take this because it was also almost full. But Tristan (the little hero in this situation) showed his temper and the bus driver had no other choice to let us in.
Finally in Belfast the Intern Europe team greeted us and we were driven to our new homes by taxi. We were showed our little (literally) room, bath, kitchen and everythig necessary we need to know. Our new roomates Glen and Milan are both a little strange but very mind.
The next two months are going to be very interesting, that´s for sure, especially because the heater in our room is not working and its reeeeaaaaaly cold. I hope the agency will fix this soon. Here are some impressions:
I spare you the kitchen and the living room this time because it was very dirty. Oh, and by the way the mould in the bathroom (as shown in the pictures above) was repainted on Saturday. I didn´t know this just solves the problem with mould, but i defininetly need this paint for my home in Berlin too!
On Saturday we did a shopping tour through the city and I tryed to get an RJ45 cable, along with some groceries. You can´t believe how hard it is to find a shop, that sells electronic stuff in Belfast, seriously. After hours we found a little computer repair shop in a small street which had about 3 cables in stock. Well I think that´s enough text for this day.
I leave you with a picture of a Mall we went in. I´m realy curious about the first week of work!
nice article … „.tristan the hero“ 🙂 best paragraph
