Queen’s University Belfast

Hey from Belfast,

today it was a windy but sunny day.

On my trip to work I go past the Queen’s University of Belfast. Today I wanted to take a picture of that beautiful building, because the sun was shining and it wasn’t cold.

Here you can see the university.

Okay now I will tell you some historical facts about this building:

The building was built in 18…. Oh what’s this? My mobile vibrated…
I got a message on WhatsApp … But I haven’t got mobile Internet?
Oh I see, I am connected to a Wireless Network.
I looked into the settings of my mobile and noticed that I am connected to „eduroam“.

Now this place is my favorite in Belfast, because of the beautiful building and the connection to eduroam.

Just a short explanation for my family:
„eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop“. The most universities have this network, worldwide.

… just remembered, that my family cant understand English 🙂
