My trip to work

Hey readers,

today I will tell you about my trip to work everyday.

So at Monday we bought a monthly bus ticket for 62£ (77€).
It is quite expensive, in Berlin we will pay about 45€ (36£) for an „Azubi Ticket“.

But first I will tell you about the bus system in Belfast.

Every Bus is travelling to „Belfast City Center“, from there the specifically buses are travelling to their final destinations. So you usually don’t have a directly transport link to the destination. You have to change the bus at City Center mostly.

At the City Center of Belfast, there are so many buses. I think tourists will be confused (Henny also :D).
There are up to 12 bus lines and lots of little bus lines (like bus line 29).
If I am honest, the number of bus lines and the whole infrastructure is sometimes confusing for me.
So here you can see a map of the infrastructure.

As you can see on the picture, there are 12 „big bus lines“.
The „big bus lines“ are normally divided into A,B and C. They go the same route, but there a differences between the final destinations.

Okay now I will tell you about my trip to work.

My work starts at 9 am, so I have to take the bus 30 at 8:08 am (this bus is everyday to late).
As I said the bus is travelling to the City Center.
Than I must walk around the big City Hall and take the bus 8B towards Erinvale Avenue.
The Bus is travelling to „Bristow Park Upper Malone“, it takes about 20 min.
There I have to walk only two minutes to work.

So I think my trip to work is okay.
You can see a picture of my journey below.

By the way I always got a seat. Usually the buses are not overfilled like in Berlin.

At the end, you can see a bus of Translink Metro.

See you!
