“Nothing lasts forever. Forever is a lie. All we have is what’s in between hello and goodbye.”

29th of May in 2018:

This day was the last but one working day of my work experience in Belfast. I finished all my task, which were unfinished. Today flew by that fast.
In the evening we went for an Irish dinner at ‚Morning Star‘, a recommendation of Tim :D. The atmosphere for our last evening together in Belfast was great. Unfortunately, the paying process was problematic. At first, they told us to separate the receipt by ourselves and go and pay separately. Then at the cashier, they said us it isn’t possible to settle up one by one. In the end, we had to borrow money from Tim, who paid by card. When Tim was settling up, another staff told him that we could pay individually. It was such a mess! „“Nothing lasts forever. Forever is a lie. At work, I continued the task, which needs to be finished. In the afternoon Jenny and I tried to send our parcels to Germany. First we decided to use Hermes, but unfortunately, we didn’t have a label from Hermes because we thought it is a Hermes shop, where the labels will be printed out. However, the shop owner apologised, and we had to left the shop. My parcel was quite heavy however we had to walk home again. „„Sports do not build character. They reveal it.““ weiterlesen

„volunteer now“

4th of April in 2018:

Today my day started a little bit earlier than the others. Even Colin (an employee from InternEurope) told me to begin work at 10 a.m.; I remembered that Kelli (She is my supervisor at ‚volunteer now‘.) asked me to start work at 8:30 a.m. Not a problem for me. It supposed to say ‚The early bird catches the worm.‘
