St. Georges Market

Day 8  08.04.2018 Sunday

 

On sunday we visited the “St. George’s Market”. At this market you will find a lot of different traders which sell different products. It is very entertaining to be in there. It is different to every other market I’ve visited before, because they had a live performance as a background music. We tested some curry, and some sweet goods. Some artists sold very beautiful paintings.
I wasn’t sure if i could take a picture of it. Probably not, so I didn’t. At the end of the visit I had a pullet beef burger with a special self made chilli sauce. I think it was one of the best pulled beef burger I ever had. „St. Georges Market“ weiterlesen

Explore the city

Even history has to be. In the early afternoon we decided to go to the city center today. At 3 pm we met in front of the City Hall. The City Hall of Belfast was built at the beginning of the 20th century and meanwhile serves as a museum. Since the entrance was free, we decided to go in and spend a little bit of time with the history of the city. In one room there was a throne on which one could sit down to take some pictures. Exploring Belfast

This day we got up a little bit later because we wanted to start the day slowly. Me and Giang mixed ourselves a milkshake with fresh fruits to get some vitamins. Friday and Food

Today I continued to work on the marketing of Amazon products. However, I did not much work because I had to leave earlier due to the Interneurope meeting. Since almost everyone was very reserved at the meeting, this was already finished after a short time.

 

After that we decided to have dinner together. We split into small groups to prepare for the evening. Giang, Jenny, Son and Tim went shopping, Robert and Guiliano got card games and Phi and I went home and cleaned up. We decided to do summer roles. After spending several hours preparing we could finally eat. I have never eaten summer rolls before, but they were delicious!

 

After dinner we first played the card game „Der Große Dalmuti“ and then until late in the evening UNO and “Tabletop Simulator”.

Today my day started a little bit earlier than the others. Even Colin (an employee from InternEurope) told me to begin work at 10 a.m.; I remembered that Kelli (She is my supervisor at ‚volunteer now‘.) asked me to start work at 8:30 a.m. Not a problem for me. It supposed to say ‚The early bird catches the worm.‘

Working in Belfast

After I woke up, I was very excited, because today is my first day at tdrnetworks. Everything was packed for work and for breakfast I had leftovers from dinner yesterday. After I finished my breakfast, I left for work. A thirty minutes walk later I arrived at my workplace. First day of work

Day 4 04.04.2018 Wednesday

 

My first day of work started at 10:00 am. On my way I have met a colleague of mine, who also had his first work day at agnewcars. We both walked together to the store. It took us about 20 minutes. When we arrived we asked the secretary to call our contact person named “Nigel Skilling” but unfortunately he is not in this day.
