time, where are you and why are you running away??
I’ve just realized that from today we will have another 3 weeks here and that’s it for us in Ireland. Never would I have imagined that time can fly by so fast.
Today was my lazy day… again, but at some point I need a little off of everything. Just sleep long, not doing much and enjoy the day as it is. A few day ago I had a little talk with a cashier about the Marvel Universe ( a comic universe about superheros/-villains) and she told me a few things I did not know about some characters. So I took my time and watched a few movies to keep up with the lore.
I know, this is not how I was supposed to spend my time here, but after all I still have some time left, and also I planed on doing it anyways. So hey, I did everything I wanted. And I think this is the most important thing in life: do what you want so that you can grow.
By the way, I’m sorry I didn’t put any pictures or videos in my last posts, but I just haven’t seen any opportunity to make some pictures that I want to show.

Off we go, way to the south
We came back recently from Dublin and it really was an interesting adventure.

Printing and explorering
Today, on friday we hadn’t much to do except for the 3D printer. This time I printed a mobile phone holder for my OnePlusTwo. After the printing that lasted five hours I painted the whole holder silver except for the logo. This I painted green and black. The result isn’t what I excpected but it’s ok.
After break we went off with our boss Robin and our colleague Gareth, to find the blacksmith on our property. This was also the first time for our colleagues to explore the plot. We past some old barns and huts and even some cows, goats, sheeps, donkeys and other animals. Altough the property is darn big, we found the house from the blacksmith. Unfortunately, he wasn’t there so we looked couriously through the windows and saw some swords. Very beautiful!
And this was all for the day. Later I’m going to sleep early because tomorrow me and some other member from my educational year will drive to Dublin.

More rain than anywhere else
So, today is Friday. Overall a day to be happy about, because the weekend just started. And still it’s something that keeps bothering me. Oh, I know, it’s the RAIN!!
I don’t think I will ever get used to the amounts of rain here. But well, gonna have to live with it. We’re still not doing much, besides the usual unlocking of accounts or setting up a PC.
But there was one thing that made this day stand out in comparison to the others. On last Saturdays hill-climb I got to know a blacksmith who works in the museum. I had a little talk with him back then and told him that I also wanted to try out forging. So he told me to drop by on his forge the other day. And that was what we did in the later afternoon.
We only had a map of our area and our instincts to guide us. What else do I need to say… we went straight across the areas not knowing where we were.
But after about 15 minutes we found our destination, just about to see that it was closed just recently … sigh
Well, nothing to do about that, but at least I now know where it is, maybe I will give it another try next week.
AVA Festival and Conference 2017
My colleague and now roommate Michael told me about this festival, called AVA a few weeks ago already. As the lineup looked quite well and represented the kind of music that I’m into it, I decided to organize some tickets for myself. Lucky me that my fiancé used to print one of the few independent magazines in Germany (proud magazine) and is still publishing articles online, so that we were able to get two press tickets for the festival. The only thing I had to do is writing a little preview and as may be the case a review as well, according on my experiences there.

There is something I forgot to mention in the prior articles. It somehow never made the cut. Never fit in. It’s been haunting me for the last few weeks and it’s still hard to ignore. It’s this noise. It’s located in the „server room“ of the new office. I obviously spent a lot of time inside this room. I was told that it appeared because of a malfunction of the alarm system. It has not stopped since. It’s been 3 weeks.
