A calm day

Yesterday started just as usual , after I had a good breakfast me and robert went to work . We worked on some lists so it was more or less calm work. The day passed quiet quickly. We arrived at home where Andy and Florian have been waiting because they wanted to go to the cinema . After a good dinner they went out and I stayed home minding my own stuff and playing some games and even had a little chat with the austrians. Later in the evening they came back and told me about the movie ( in which i wasn´t even a bit interested). We finished our little chat and went straight to bed.

Testing a new Section and Cinema

Today we got the information that a new section of the program is finished and ready to be tested. Since our boss want to do a presentation about this new features, testing everything and trying to identify any issue or even something that could create a screen of death is the most important task. That also includes that we tested if every change we did trough the interface is affecting the database as intended and narrow down the source of any error as good as possible. But sometimes recreating a problem is really difficult, especially if the source is more or less something a user could do that just slightly differs from what you expecting them to do or what they told you they did. „Testing a new Section and Cinema“ weiterlesen

Best fish and chips

Today I started the day normally, I went out early and I arrived at work, as expected, early. I was around 20 minutes earlier so I went to the supermarket that is directly in front of the school. I got some fruits and something to drink.

I started my work with a small talk about the project. We improved our plans with the help of another colleague, so I had enough tasks to do for today. For lunch I went out and bought a chicken burger with a big salad. My work day was like usually, nothing special. At 5pm I went out and got my bus, fortunately I got home without having troubles in traffic.

a new week began

Yesterday began a new week. This is our third week in London.

My normal day starts at around 6:30 am. I get myself ready to leave at 7:10 am, so that I can be punctual at 9 o’clock at work. Yesterday I had to remove a lot of parts on different televisions and change the display of an Ipad. It was a pretty standard day at work. But in the afternoon I met up with a friend and we hang out till the late afternoon. We talked about school, our life in Berlin and London and much more. A stressful morning

Today I woke up as usual but when I wanted to go to the bathroom, I couldn’t because it was busy. We mixed up our timetable in the morning so I went out a bit later than the other days. I also had to wait a bit to get a bus, and then I got in a traffic jam. I went out of the bus near my workplace where the agency is, with the purpose of walking a bit and avoiding the traffic jam. Luckily I still arrived in time at work.

Sightseeing with my Family

I got up early this weekend because I would go sightseeing with my family. The first thing we would do was go to the Tower Hill Station where we would get into a sightseeing bus which we used to get to the St. Paul’s Cathedral. Inside the cathedral we had an audio guide which we used to listen to facts about the cathedral while walking through it.

Going to Work

Tuesday was the day on which we were supposed to be told where our work placements are going to be but unfortunately due to some complications only five people would get to know where they are gonna be working. I wasn’t one of these five people and neither was Artin or Steven and so went to Avocado & Coffee where Steven would get a call from the agency and they told him that he would have a job interview the next day. After all of us three had a sandwich we went to the Ninth Life to have a drink.
