The Arrival

Today was a quiet specific day…. It was the final day in Germany for the next 8 weeks and our journey to Belfast started.

I was quite excited but also a little bit nervous. What do I have to exspect, how will be the first impression? So many question that I asked myself and even now I can say that not all of them are answered yet.

But lets start from the beginning:

We met us at the Schönefeld Airport at 8.30 a.m. We made the boarding, went through the security check and entered our plane. We fullfilled our flight to Belfast with Ryanair. After nearly two hours we landed in Belfast at 12 o‘ clock. The weather was great we had 20 degrees just sunshine. After we all got back our bags we went by bus to the center of Belfast. On our way to Belfast we saw the incredible nature of nothern ireland and it was really impressive. After we arrived we met a woman of the agency that is responsible for us during our time in Belfast. She organized taxis for us that brought us to our houses. By the way I’m staying with Max in a room.

Nevertheless when we arrived at our house my first impression was not so good. But when we went inside my impression changed completely. Everthing was cleaned up, it looked very friendly and the other occupants of the house are very nice. The house have two bathrooms, one living room with a huge kitchen and 6 other rooms. Max and I are living with 4 other students in the one. Two of them are from Ireland, one of them is from Egland and one of them is from Scotland.

After a little break we went to Tesco to buy some basic stuff to eat and to drink. In the evenving Max and I went to Dominik and Konrad. We four sat together, talked a lot and just relaxed.

Let’s see what the next days will bring.
