Today we went back to Germany again. We had to get the taxi at 4:30 AM in the morning. Luckily it brought us directly to the Belfast international Airport. The last days
The end of my internship comes closer and closer. At work there were no special tasks. We all went to the Ulster museum because we had a meeting with the company to discuss and plan how to lay some network cables in the building.
At lunch our boss Robin was so friendly and invited us to the restaurant opposite the museum. I ordered a „open sandwich“. As the waitress came I noted what a „open sandwich“ really is. She put a plate with bread, tomatoes, cucumber, ham salad, cheese and more in front of me on the table. Ok, I haven’t eaten all of it but I have probably eaten more vegetables than the whole year.
Yesterday, on our last working day our boss invited us a second time to a restaurant. This time another employee we had met over the course of time and some colleagues came with us. We drove to an fish restaurant and therefore all of us ate „fish and chips“ except for me. I ate chicken because I don’t like to eat fish. The food was good and I was fed up.
The second day at the big office
I at work on time and a colleague requested me to come with him to the big office again. The one from yesterday.
The Thursday at a big office
I was half an hour earlier at work and printed a plan for the routers. I went up to my boss and he told me that the Ethernet was broken. Our Provider had some problems.
An interesting task on work
At work I got a really interesting task by my boss. He went to migrate a company router from a Sonicwall to a Vigor router from Dreytek.
Final Week in Belfast

Last day at CAPITA and why a part of my heart definitely stays in Belfast
Yesterday it was the last day at CAPITA. First I have to say that it was a great time at CAPITA. They tried to introduce me as much they can. I got a little tour at the beginning through CAPITA to explain the function of each department. I liked that and I am grateful they done it for me. At the time at CAPITA there where some busy moments. But it was okay because I always got some help when I asked for it.
