So, today was one of the most active days I’ve ever had in the last years. Our group thought about climbing up a Mountain in the north-eastern part of Belfast. At first I thought what could be so special about this Mountain that we want to spend nearly a whole day on it, but as we arrived I saw the mountain in itself and realized: oh, this is going to be a really… funny trip .
It took us a few minutes to get to the first plateau from which we had a great view over Belfast and the sea, but we wanted to go higher. Way up to the top. And so we want along the road, which was rather tricky at some points, but no problem for real mountain climbers.
Only a short walk later we found a cave in the mountain and went immediately inside. it was more of a hole than a cave, but it’s something
The last part of our tour was the hardest one, since ther5e were many little rocks that came down as soon as we stepped on them. But the final view was worth the effort
We grabbed a quick lunch, something to drink and headed back down. Rene told us about two routes that lead to the top, and since we had the hard way up it was only natural to take the easy way back to the city. There we had even more awesome places that were worth remembering. For example there was a steep passage down and at the end there was a little creek running down.
At the end of the day we had chicken drumsticks home made and chips. it was very tasty and so easy made, we have to do it again tomorrow.
