Day 55 25.05.2018 Friday
On Friday I had to troubleshoot some apple tv’s because the app they use crashed. They couldn’t display any slide shows anymore. The reason for this was that the apple TV’s didn’t had the recent updates. Furthermore we tested the new network with a voice over ip telephone to discover if there were any problems or blind spots.
I also used this day to gather all signatures for my record book, in which I had to document my work because my company needs them to sign me in for my IHK final exam, where I must proof that my record book is complete.
This day was a very special one because my supervisor wanted Jakob and me to present our presentation in front of the whole IT team.
Unfortunately we told our supervisor beforehand that our presentation wouldn’t meet his requirements (30 min in total). Well I didn’t think that we’d talk as long but because of the questions they’ve asked us we even filled 1h and 10 min. In this presentation we had to talk about the expectations we had regarding the work experience, the starting conditions we had before we applied to Agnews, the proposed projects we had, our achievements (the projects which we’ve fulfilled), what we learned, how we review the work experience at Agnews as well as improvement proposals for Agnews and our future plans we have for our professional life. I was sure nervous because I thought everyone from the IT team would come. But fortunately a lot of them took this day off. I don’t know if the reason for this was the coming monday, which was a banking holiday (feast day). As I heard from my supervisor Agnews decided not to take this day off.
