4th of April in 2018:
Today my day started a little bit earlier than the others. Even Colin (an employee from InternEurope) told me to begin work at 10 a.m.; I remembered that Kelli (She is my supervisor at ‚volunteer now‘.) asked me to start work at 8:30 a.m. Not a problem for me. It supposed to say ‚The early bird catches the worm.‘
After I woke up, I was very excited, because today is my first day at tdrnetworks. Everything was packed for work and for breakfast I had leftovers from dinner yesterday. After I finished my breakfast, I left for work. A thirty minutes walk later I arrived at my workplace. My first day of work started at 10:00 am. On my way I have met a colleague of mine, who also had his first work day at agnewcars. We both walked together to the store. It took us about 20 minutes. When we arrived we asked the secretary to call our contact person named “Nigel Skilling” but unfortunately he is not in this day. Even before the day really started, I was pretty excited about what will happen to me today. I got up shortly before 8:00 am. I took a shower and ate a snack for breakfast. Full of energy, I want to go now, but it was only 8.30 … So I had plenty of time before I could go. After a quick thought about what I should do now, I decided to get my laptop out and read some blog posts from the others. Today we met at 10 a.m. at the Interneurope office to get some information about our stay. First, we were introduced to the city of Belfast with a small video. Furthermore, we got a lot of information what we have to pay attention to, what rules we should follow and what we can do in our spare time. After we clarified a few more formalities, we were led around in the city. On the tour we got some more tips on how we can spend our free time, in an inexpensive way. Finally, the holiday is over. I was bored because, when I arrived nearly every shop was closed. But to my surprise some shops were open. It is different than Germany. I like it. I can buy stuff even when there is a banking holiday

Day 3 03.04.2018 Tuesday
Today we met at 10:00 a.m. in the intern europe office to get important information concerning our stay here.
First we watched a video about Belfast with a few impressions about activities we can do here and basic informations about belfast like the 4 districts. After that we got some information about our stay at belfast. On Monday, 02.04.2018, we had free and this meant for me to sleep long. For breakfast there was cereal and the leftovers of our spaghetti from the day before. After Jennifer, Phi and I have finished our breakfast we went to the Tesco Store near us. We There we bought minced meat for meatballs, fries and salad. It’s my third day here in Belfast and I can say that Belfast is completely different than Berlin.

On Sunday the 1st of April 2018 I arrived in Belfast, from this day on I will call Belfast my new home for two months.
After the landing we drove together to the Europe Centre bus station. From the Europe Centre we drove to our accommodation. Our house looks great.
After our roomtour we went to the Tesco Epress for our food shopping.
