Here is a small update of our work at Precept-IT.
Just in time for the start of the new week some new tickets came in. One of these tickets included the setup of multiple Surface-Pro for a client. Obviously a rather easy task, but contrary to all expectations, the setup has continued until today. The reason for this were some updates that were not installed, which led to the network link not working properly. It was trial by error. At first we didn’t knew what was causing the problem, so we decided to look for updates. And lo and behold, updates all the way from 2016 up to today.
There is no way around it, so we had to wait for all those updates to download and install. That took the whole night from Monday to Tuesday and even some hours today. But finally, after updates are done, mapping the network drive worked.
