The Third Week

It’s been a while since my last blog entry. My parents arrived last week and I’ve been spending time with them. On Wednesday and Thursday Nickolas and I got more done at work, including composing more letters and emails for clients no longer supported by the Cassel center. Going through a database of files, we also implemented a renaming scheme, applying it to thousands of files.

Friday after work, I took the train to a hotel near Victoria Station where I would spend the night with my parents. In the evening I had a roasted pork belly at an Italian restaurant. Gordan Ramsey would have approved it. The next day we embarked upon our trip to Bletchley Park.

Bletchley Park is of global significance. It is where World War two code breakers broke almost impenetrable codes sent by the German forces. The first computers were also installed and operated here. In my next blog entry I will comment on my experiences at Bletchley Park.
